Privacy and data

This information is for Antro Daten. The general Antro documents below also apply to your shared account and Antro Events. An Antro account does not automatically enrol you in Dating.

Using and protecting data

Antro processes your profile, preferences, likes, matches and messages to provide the Dating features you choose. Blocks, reports and necessary technical data support security and the handling of abuse. Your profile does not appear on this public website. You choose which optional information to share. Preferences, circles and free text may reveal sensitive information about you; share only what you want to share.

Dating is your choice

An Antro account does not automatically make you visible in Dating. After entering your first name, last name, date of birth and gender, and agreeing to join Dating, you can use the app. Your profile stays hidden until you add three photos and a short introduction and activate it yourself. Your first name, age, photos, interests and story are then visible to people allowed to view your profile. Your last name, date of birth and email address stay private. You share your dating location only if you choose to.

Your preferences and conversations

For a new dating profile, we set English and the recognised phone language as conversation languages. If the phone language is unknown, we start with English only. This is an initial setting, not a test of your language skills. In Settings → Conversation languages, you can change languages and remove English. Your manual choices are preserved. New encounters share at least one selected language; for groups, this applies to everyone. Existing matches and conversations remain after a language change. Messages are accessible to the conversation participants. A reported message may be viewed as evidence by the people handling reports.

Labels and discovery preferences

Choosing a social circle label does not prove membership. For each label, choose “Hide”, “Everyone” or “Same label”. With “Same label”, only people who also share that label can see it. “Everyone” means everyone allowed to view your profile. “Interested” and “Prefer not” are separate, private preferences.

Photos in Dating in the dark

In this room, photos are shown at 2% brightness. In a conversation, you can both agree to normal brightness. You can withdraw that consent.

Searching by distance

You have one dating location for distance searches and the place you may choose to share on your profile. Choose a fixed place or enable location while using the app. We only ask your device for location access when you request it. With permission, we update your rounded location only while you use the app. If access is denied, your saved location remains in use. Your choice of a fixed place or automatic updates applies to your account on all your devices. Your coordinates are not shown on your profile. Search distance is an approximate straight-line distance, not travel distance. Without a dating location, you can search without your own distance limit; people who set a distance limit themselves will not be shown. Manage these choices under Preferences → Location and distance. Removing your location also removes your distance limit and turns off sharing your place.

Your place on your profile

You choose separately whether your dating place appears on your profile. This is off by default. Sharing shows the place and country, with the province where needed, never your address or coordinates. With automatic updates, your visible place may also change while you use the app. A fixed dating place stays the same. You can turn sharing off again; your dating location remains available for distance searches.

Find places with Google Maps

You can find a town or city anywhere in the world with Google Maps. Only your search text, request language, a temporary random search token and selected place go to Google through our server. We do not send account details or your device’s position. Google place names are only shown while you choose. The place description you type is saved with your account; you can add a country or region yourself. The selected place determines distances. We store the place ID and temporarily use Google coordinates for distance calculations. These are refreshed during use and deleted within 30 days at the latest if refreshing fails. Your own place description and privacy setting are kept; you can select the place again. Google Maps Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy apply to this search feature; links are provided in the place picker.

Supabase · Vercel · Google

Supabase provides authentication, the database and storage; Vercel hosts the website. Antro uses the services listed in the general privacy notice for account emails and its mailbox. Google receives the data described below when you search for places. Being an Events organiser does not give anyone access to your Dating profile, conversations or report evidence.

Retention and deletion

Profile deletion, safety cases, orders and backups have different consequences and retention periods. After profile deletion, photos enter the physical cleanup queue. Necessary report evidence and restrictions may remain separately. In an age-related case, the app shows scheduled deletion dates and any suspension. Deleting Dating does not cancel Events orders or delete your shared account. Age-related cases: after an unsubstantiated decision with no earlier measure, report evidence is deleted after 30 days; other evidence and decision data have a six-calendar-month period from the decision. A Dating profile confirmed to belong to a minor is deleted after 30 days. A separately stored date of birth is erased 90 days after profile deletion. An active restriction leaves only necessary minimal records. These periods do not automatically apply to other safety reports or backups. Deletion is postponed while a review, appeal or necessary legal retention is ongoing. Only Dating data is deleted. Your Antro account, Events and tickets are kept. A minimal age restriction record may remain; you can still request another review.

Your rights and contact

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing. You can change or withdraw optional choices. Use the privacy contact below; do not send a password or login code. The general privacy notice explains legal bases, international transfers, handling of rights requests and complaints to the supervisory authority.
